“The Selenites” are a three headed Rock’n’Roll band from Austria, who are dedicated to infect the world with their unique style of Rock’n’Roll. They play and interpret Rock’n’Roll as well as the different genres of Rockabilly (50s, 60s, Neo) in their own and new way, mixing it with elements of Surf and even Garage.
Founded in 2018 the band members – Sebastian Pichler (vocals, guitar), Thomas Berndl (drums) and Paul Hangler (backing vocals, double bass) – come up with years of experience in different Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly, Rock and Bluesrock genres. Titled as the best newcomer bands of Austrias rock scene “The Selenites” take you on a wild ride, creating a sound experience from guitar, upright bass, drums and an inimitable voice that catches you and is second to none in the Rock’n’Roll world. They already shared the stage and supported famous acts like “Big Sandy & his Fly-Rite Boys”, “The Drugstore Cowboys”, “The Tin Cans” and “The Go Getters“.
