Harry Bodley-Scott is the latest up and coming singer/songwriter to rise out of London. His life is about making music; his natural musicality combines with his love of language to create melodies and lyrics that echo the triumphs and tragedies that people face every day. He began writing music at 14 and has honed his craft over 11 years. Now 25, Harry is ready to break through the noise and make his attempt at the summit of the UK music industry and beyond with his unique lyrical pop songwriting.
Harry’s track ‘Times of Our Lives’ released in 2020 on his EP ‘Hoping for a Sunrise’ featured in Harry Wootliff’s new film ‘True Things’ starring Ruth Wilson, and his track ‘Man Like Me’ spent 3 weeks in the Soundcloud @re-ex Pop/Rock chart peaking at no.6. Of his 2021 single ‘Instagram’ A&R Factory’s Amelia Vandergast wrote that the evocative indie pop rap was the ‘perfect example’ of how Harry “tends to delve deeper in his lyrics than most singer-songwriters”. Hughes Nelson of DailyMusicRoll declared that “Harry Bodley-Scott is making wonderful compositions that are bound to move your head and melt your heart”, and there are many, many more on the way, so listen out for his name and watch this space.
